What we collect, why we collect it, who touches it, and the control you keep. Written to be read, not buried.

Who we are

444RacingCo Pty Ltd is an Australian company based in Melbourne and is the data controller for personal information collected through 444racingco.com and our social channels. For anything privacy related, email contact@444racingco.com.

CLAUSE / 02

What we collect

  • Identity and contact. Name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address when you order, create an account, or sign up.
  • Order and payment. What you bought and your payment status. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay and Klarna. Your full card details never reach us; we see only confirmation and partial identifiers.
  • Device and usage. IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed and actions on site, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences. Your email and SMS subscription status and how you interact with our messages.
  • Giveaway entries. When you enter a competition: your entry details, eligibility information, and if you win, whatever the giveaway terms say we need to deliver the prize and announce the result.
  • Support correspondence. Emails and messages you send us, including return requests and photos.
CLAUSE / 03

How we use it

  • Running your order. Processing payment, production, shipping, delivery updates, returns and support. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Marketing. Email and SMS campaigns sent through Klaviyo when you've opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link and every SMS accepts STOP. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Advertising. We use advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure our ads and reach people likely to be into what we make. Where your local law requires it, these only fire with your consent. Legal basis: consent or our legitimate interest in promoting the brand, depending on your region.
  • Giveaways. Administering entries, verifying eligibility, drawing and announcing winners, and delivering prizes under the published giveaway terms.
  • Protection and compliance. Fraud screening on orders, keeping tax and accounting records, and meeting legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who touches it

We share personal information only with the services that run the store, and only what each one needs:

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

These providers process data in Australia, the United States and other countries. Where data leaves your region we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms, to protect it.

CLAUSE / 05

Cookies & tracking

  • Essential. Cart, checkout and security. The store doesn't work without these.
  • Analytics. How the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Marketing. Pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that measure ads and build audiences.

You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie preferences on this site where shown, and through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will break checkout.

CLAUSE / 06

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for 7 years to meet Australian tax and accounting law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Giveaway entry data is kept for the period stated in the giveaway terms, then deleted. Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve the matter and defend legal claims. Everything else goes when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format.
  • Correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your data, subject to records we're legally required to keep.
  • Opt out of marketing at any time: unsubscribe link in every email, reply STOP to any SMS.
  • Object or restrict processing based on legitimate interests, including targeted advertising, and withdraw consent at any time.

Email contact@444racingco.com and we'll respond within the timeframe your local law sets (30 days in most regions). If you're not satisfied, you can complain to your privacy regulator: the OAIC in Australia, your national data protection authority in the EU/EEA, or the ICO in the UK.

CALIFORNIA

California residents can exercise the rights above under the CCPA/CPRA. We don't sell personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising partners for cross-context ads may count as "sharing" under California law; you can opt out by emailing us or via the cookie preferences on this site.

CLAUSE / 08

Minors & changes

The store isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us their data, email us and we'll delete it.

When we change this policy we'll update the effective date at the top, and for material changes we'll notify subscribers by email. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
